Master of Malt announces the ultimate occasion for drinks exploration: World Dram Day!

Dram (noun) : a small drink of whisky or other spirits.

For the past 14 years Master of Malt, the UK’s leading craft spirits retailer, has been discovering and decanting the finest premium liquids into wonderful sip-sized portions, so what better way to shout about this illustrious heritage than by devoting a whole day to drams?

Yes, that’s right, from here on out the last Thursday of April will officially be World Dram Day, dedicated to those tasty little 30ml wax-dipped wonders. That makes 25th April 2024 the very first World Dram Day!

With a range of thousands of drams, not to mention featuring extensive Drinks By The Dram tasting sets, Master of Malt wants to create an occasion for everyone to explore sips that they never considered or that they most love, from every corner of the world.

Master of Malt wants to democratise premium spirits, so everyone can have the chance to try incredible liquids, without having to invest in a whole bottle. We also want to educate people on spirits and encourage exploration of categories, without the commitment or expense of buying full bottles. Drinks By The Dram have curated the perfect tasting sets in answer to this, from one containing 5 different drams of vodka, right through to a Highlands tasting set which gives a spectrum of liquids from the region.

We will also be rolling out unbelievable offers across drams and tasting sets so you can really experiment with those sips you have always wanted to try!

We will also be hosting an all-day event in partnership with Drinks By The Dram and Dram Bar in Central London. Featuring free one-on-one whisky consultations with Dave Worthington, the Global Brand Ambassador for That Boutique-y Whisky Company, as well as an Adult Pick ‘N’ Mix’ where anyone can select delicious drams to take home with them (not that we miss the heady days of the Woolworths sweet section or anything…) with everything from whiskies through to mezcals, gins, vodkas and rums.

The event will run from 10.30am to 7pm at Dram, 7 Denmark St, London WC2H 8LZ, it is free to attend but RSVP necessary.
